Cloud Solution Architect (m/f/d) - Accenture Technology

About the Role

Accenture Technology is seeking visionary thinkers to develop tomorrow's cloud strategies. In this role, you will work with large enterprises to envision their technology landscape five years from now and build the concrete steps to get there. Projects range from creating architecture blueprints for cloud transformations with executive visibility to prototyping Agentic AI platforms or modernizing core business systems. You'll be close to the technology, close to decision-makers, and have the opportunity to shape the direction from the early stages.

This position is available full-time or part-time and can be based in Munich, Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt/Kronberg, and Düsseldorf.

Your Mission

• Collaborate with clients to define future-state technology landscapes and create roadmaps.
• Develop architecture blueprints for cloud transformations.
• Build prototypes for Agentic AI platforms.
• Modernize legacy systems critical to core business operations.
• Engage directly with technology and decision-makers to influence project direction.

Your Focus Areas (Develop in one or two, and grow into others):

Cloud-Native Architecture & Engineering

• Design microservice landscapes, event-driven architectures, and domain-driven designs for complex business logic.
• Strategically decouple legacy systems and integrate them into modern topologies using stacks like Java/Spring Boot, Go, Node.js, React, or Angular.

Platform Engineering & DevOps

• Build internal developer platforms on CNCF foundations (Kubernetes, Crossplane, ArgoCD, Helm).
• Develop user-friendly Golden Paths, IaC, and GitOps workflows.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Agentic AI Architecture

• Architect agentic systems within an enterprise context, including multi-agent topologies, MCP/A2A integrations, and orchestration patterns between LLMs, deterministic logic, and legacy systems.
• Assess the production readiness of different system classes.

Modern, AI-led Engineering

• Implement modern engineering practices, leveraging GenAI in the SDLC (coding assistants, agentic workflows, AI-assisted reviews and testing).
• Establish developer experience and engineering practices for scalable AI integration.
• Form informed opinions on where AI delivers value in software development today.

Tech-Led Strategy & Modernization

• Utilize technology as a strategic lever, translating technical possibilities into business-transforming roadmaps.
• Conduct architecture assessments and lead modernization programs.

Typical Project Structure

• Conduct architecture workshops with lead architects and IT management.
• Develop concrete solution designs for business areas or functional capabilities.
• Build hands-on prototypes to validate architectural decisions.
• Hand over to or support delivery teams.
• Engage with C-level stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• A genuine interest in technology trends.
• Completed education in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
• Deep expertise in at least one of the focus areas, demonstrated through projects where you built solutions or co-owned architectural decisions.
• Experience working in agile projects and international/cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.
• Fluent German and English.
