Summary

As a Business Analyst, you will be the critical link between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring IDMWORKS’ Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions precisely meet client needs. You will facilitate the entire requirements gathering process, from initial stakeholder interviews to creating detailed process workflows and test plans. This role requires a meticulous communicator capable of translating complex data into actionable business requirements while maintaining professional, consistent, and audit-ready documentation.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assess current IAM environments and systems by facilitating stakeholder interviews and document reviews.
  • Facilitate meetings with technical and business stakeholders to elicit business and functional requirements and conduct business process analysis.
  • Plan, coordinate, and analyze client business processes and functional requirements, preparing documentation for communication and validation.
  • Review and analyze client and system data to evaluate its strength and usefulness in aiding the design and implementation of IAM systems.
  • Draft and review use cases, process workflows, analysis reports, requirements documents, and other documentation.
  • Collaborate with IAM architects and engineers to assist in the creation of design documentation.
  • Develop test plans and test cases for IAM solutions.
  • Perform document reviews for compliance with standardized templates, checking for spelling, grammar, tone, and consistency.
  • Communicate status, including timely reporting and escalation of issues and risks.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team setting and multi-task environment.
  • Author technical documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

Experience:

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with IAM components: Identity Governance and Administration, Access Management, SSO/Federation, Privileged Access Management, Enterprise Directories.
  • Knowledge of the nine project management knowledge areas: Cost, Time/Schedule, Scope, Risk, Human Resource, Integration, Procurement, Communications, Quality Management.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting IT, preferably in operations or business analysis.
  • 2+ years of experience in information technology related to customer service, customer liaison, customer relationship management, or vendor management.
  • 2+ years of experience with requirements gathering and business process documentation.
  • 2+ years of experience with IAM administration/implementation.

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or an IT-related field, or equivalent experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to continually sit at a desk and in meetings.
  • Ability to frequently travel commercially by airplane or car.
  • Ability to frequently travel to an office building/client location.
  • Ability to lift 5-10 lbs.
  • Required to use a keyboard/mouse.
  • Required to communicate via telephone and/or video teleconference.
