Account Director - Enterprise Agency

GWI🌍 Remote WorldwideEstimated: $80,000 - $120,000

GWI: Account Director, Enterprise

About GWI

At GWI, we’re always looking for extraordinary people who thrive on making an extraordinary impact. Right now, we’re looking for an Account Director to play a key role in our Enterprise team in New York. If making a difference gets you out of bed in the morning, keep reading. It could be the start of something, well, extraordinary.

About the Role

As our Account Director, you’ll own GWI’s relationship with some of the top network agencies in the world, such as WPP, Stagwell, and Havas. Our ideal candidate will excel at relationship-driven opportunities, have proven sales experience with market research tools and data, and come with their own network of well-earned industry contacts.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Own the entire revenue cycle with existing Tier 1 agency accounts – everything from renewal to upsell and expansion.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the account structure and execute well-planned, creative strategies to achieve both short-term and long-term commercial growth goals.
  • Enthusiastically present GWI product offerings with your own personal conviction and style.
  • Collaborate within a team-oriented environment – bring fresh thinking and new ideas to your team and senior leaders at GWI.
  • Be flexible, comfortable with continuous change, and working in a high-tempo environment.

What You Need to Bring

Technical Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience selling market research or working with consumer audience data in an ad agency role.
  • Strong data-driven storytelling skills that can showcase GWI’s value propositions.
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities.
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools.

Competencies:

  • Able to think strategically and translate big ideas into measurable results.
  • Detailed understanding of the sales cycle with a proven track record of success.
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities independently.
  • Ability to build trust quickly and establish credibility with senior stakeholders.

Attitude:

  • Think big (to make an impact).
  • Ask why (to find a better way).
  • Show respect (to everyone, at every level, all the time).

Why Join Us

  • Work with the world’s most influential agencies — WPP, Stagwell, Havas and more — with the data to back every conversation.
  • A seat at the table with senior stakeholders from day one, backed by data that gives you a genuine edge in every conversation.
  • Clear commercial ownership — you’ll see the direct impact of your work on revenue, not just contribute to someone else’s number.
  • The scope to build something — this isn’t account maintenance, it’s a genuine opportunity to expand and shape a portfolio.

What We Offer

  • Time to recharge: 23 days’ annual leave, paid sick days, and office closures over the holidays.
  • Health & wellbeing: Top-tier health cover with dental & vision, plus mental health and wellness support.
  • Financial benefits: Great pay, 401(k) matching via Voya, and rewards that recognize your impact.
  • Flexibility & balance: Flexitime, early Friday finishes, and work-from-anywhere freedom.
  • Family first: Enhanced parental leave and carer days for when life needs you most.
  • Career growth: Accredited learning, development programs, and space to grow your future.
  • Community & impact: DE&I initiatives, volunteer days, and 100% donation matching.
