About The Role
We are seeking a Product Manager to join our CAD (Computer-Aided Dispatch) team. You will help shape the critical systems that dispatchers and first responders rely on during high-pressure situations. This role involves owning and evolving key product areas within our CAD platform, driving execution from concept through launch and iteration. You will work closely with a dedicated engineering team and partner cross-functionally with design, sales, implementation, and customer success. Your focus will be on delivering intuitive, resilient, and high-performance workflows. As public safety evolves, you will also help define how emerging technologies like AI-powered decision support and real-time video streaming are integrated into mission-critical workflows.
What You'll Do
- Own the roadmap and execution for one or more CAD workflows (e.g., call intake, unit recommendations, dispatch operations, incident management, situational awareness).
- Partner closely with your engineering team to deliver reliable, responsive, and scalable web-based experiences.
- Work directly with customers (dispatchers, supervisors, command staff, technology leaders) to understand operational pain points and translate them into product improvements.
- Define requirements and product strategy for AI-driven capabilities that enhance call triage, recommendations, information retrieval, and operational decision-making.
- Collaborate with engineering teams building real-time video streaming and multimedia capabilities.
- Leverage product analytics and operational data to identify trends, measure outcomes, and prioritize investments.
- Collaborate with sales, implementation, and go-to-market teams to support new launches and customer adoption.
- Prioritize and refine the product backlog using customer feedback, operational insights, analytics, and business goals.
- Balance new feature development with operational improvements for system performance, resiliency, scalability, and usability.
What You'll Need
- 4-7+ years of experience building and shipping software products, ideally in enterprise SaaS, real-time platforms, or operationally complex environments.
- Proven ability to own and deliver product areas end-to-end with a strong focus on execution.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams in a collaborative, one-team environment.
- Comfort partnering cross-functionally with sales, implementation, support, and customer stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, able to engage effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience building workflow-heavy, real-time, or operational products; public safety experience is a plus.
- Experience or strong interest in AI, machine learning, or decision-support systems.
- Familiarity with products incorporating video streaming, multimedia workflows, or computer vision is a plus.
- Experience using analytics, experimentation, and operational metrics to guide product decisions.
- A data-informed mindset with the ability to make thoughtful, customer-driven decisions.

This is a remote-friendly role. Mark43 is approved to hire in Canada, the UK, and 36 U.S. states. Please ensure you are able to perform the position in one of the approved states/locations before applying. Approved locations are subject to change.
