Role:
We are seeking a high-performing Associate, Deal Desk to support deal execution, pricing strategy, RFP responses, and contract administration. This role is ideal for an analytically rigorous, detail-oriented individual comfortable in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment, with 0-2+ years of experience. You will collaborate closely with Commercial Strategy, Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, and Leadership to ensure deals are structured, priced, approved, and executed efficiently and in alignment with commercial guardrails. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a foundation in commercial strategy, pricing, deal desk operations, and healthcare technology, with exposure to senior leadership and enterprise customers.
What You’ll Do:
Deal Desk & Pricing Strategy:
- Serve as the central point of contact for Go-To-Market teams regarding customer contract types, non-standard pricing, product configurations, and RFP responses.
- Support deal governance by coordinating reviews of complex or non-standard deals across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Commercial Strategy.
- Build and maintain pricing and deal models for new business, renewals, upsells, and strategic opportunities.
- Maintain pricing rules, product catalogs, discount matrices, and approval workflows within CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and CPQ tools.
RFP & Proposal Execution:
- Coordinate and support end-to-end RFP responses, including requirements analysis, data collection, pricing inputs, and submission readiness.
- Partner with Sales, Product, Legal, and Finance to ensure accurate, compliant, and differentiated responses.
- Maintain RFP content libraries, standard pricing assumptions, and reusable response artifacts.
Contract Administration & Compliance:
- Oversee contract generation for net-new and existing customer upsell agreements.
- Partner closely with Legal to manage the contract lifecycle within the CLM system (e.g., Ironclad), including version control, approvals, and repository hygiene.
- Conduct first-pass reviews of redlines on behalf of commercial and legal teams.
- Facilitate contract execution through the CLM platform and track signature status.
- Maintain a clean, searchable archive of executed contracts, approvals, and supporting documentation.
What You Bring:
- 0–2+ years of experience in a high-growth environment, preferably within Sales Operations, Commercial Strategy, Finance, Deal Desk, or a similar analytical business function.
- Working knowledge of a major CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce), including opportunity management, approvals, and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; ability to build pricing models, analyze margins, and assess deal economics.
- Experience tracking and owning contract lifecycle or deal desk KPIs within CRM and/or CLM systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors in legal, financial, or customer-facing documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, balancing sales urgency with compliance and risk requirements.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity with a proactive, structured, problem-solving mindset.
Nice to Haves:
- Prior experience administering or working within a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform (e.g., Ironclad).
- Experience with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) systems and pricing governance workflows.
- Basic understanding of revenue recognition concepts and common contractual terms and conditions.
- Experience in health tech, SaaS, or revenue cycle management (RCM) environments.
Compensation:
$75K to $85K base + benefits.
