What We Need

The Sports Business Unit at 2K is looking for an Associate Publishing Producer to work across our AAA Sports franchises. You will support multiple games, both live and in development, as part of the overall Sports Publishing Production team. We seek an organized, proactive professional with 3+ years of game development experience, ideally in AAA or live-service environments, to drive critical publishing workstreams. You will leverage your understanding of the development lifecycle and experience with tools to keep projects on track, acting as a trusted expert on our games and a bridge of organizational clarity between development and publishing teams.

What You Will Do

  • Lead publishing workstreams such as Age Ratings, User Research, and Localization, ensuring development teams are supported and meet their internal milestones on time, on budget, and to quality.
  • Lead the asset approval process across in-game content, covering licensor and legal approval.
  • Support QA and 1st Party Submissions pipelines, ensuring timely delivery of launch content and post-launch patches.
  • Collaborate with the 2K Product Management team on production tasks related to live operations, such as content allocation and testing coordination.
  • Partner internally with the Sports Business Unit, ensuring Marketing and Commercial teams operate with organizational clarity.
  • Act as a “trusted expert” for the games you work on, understanding their mechanics, gameplay loops, and overall content in depth.
  • Travel, both domestic and international, may be required.

What Will Make You a Great Fit

  • 2+ years of experience in internal or external game development, ideally on AAA and/or Live Service games.
  • Previous experience in project management and production.
  • Strong communication skills: Ability to translate technical development speak into clear updates for non-technical teams, verbally and in writing.
  • Quick learner: Able to pick up new tools, technologies, and processes quickly.
  • Adept at relationship-building: Reliable, trustworthy, and instills confidence in development partners.
  • Awareness of the gaming market: Up-to-date with current industry trends relevant to our games.
  • Understanding of the game development lifecycle.
  • Highly coachable: Proactively seeks constructive feedback and operates with a growth mindset.
  • “No Ego” approach: Believes that when the product succeeds, the whole team wins.

Tools You’ll Have Experience With:

  • Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs)
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Jira

Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity with golf (sport and culture).
  • Experience playing AAA sports or other live service games.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range (California): $85,700 - $126,860 per year. Base pay depends on market location and individual factors.

Total Compensation: May include bonus and/or equity awards, and eligibility for 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.
