MongoDB🌍 Remote WorldwideEstimated: $80,000 - $120,000

Program Manager, Finance PMO & Enablement

Join MongoDB's Finance PMO & Enablement team, the driving force behind scalable impact within our CFO organization. We collaborate across Finance functions (Accounting, FP&A, Data Analytics, Real Estate, Corporate/Venture Development, and Business Operations) to enhance processes, boost operational efficiency, and achieve transformative outcomes.

Our mission is to build a future-ready finance organization that adapts, innovates, and accelerates MongoDB's growth through operational excellence, automation, and continuous improvement. As a Program Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering this mission by owning the end-to-end execution of Finance transformation programs, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable impact.

We are seeking candidates based in Dublin for our hybrid working model.

About the Role

As a Program Manager within the Finance PMO & Enablement team, you will own the end-to-end delivery of Finance transformation programs of small to medium scale and complexity. You’ll manage program plans, coordinate cross-functional workstreams, maintain governance cadences, and keep stakeholders aligned. This involves close partnership with Business Analysts, IT, Finance functional leads, and external vendors to drive programs from initiation through to close.

This is a hands-on delivery role for an organized, relationship-driven individual energized by achieving results in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. You will take ownership, solve problems, and drive initiatives forward.

What You'll Do

Own Program Delivery

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of assigned Finance programs, from charter and scoping through to testing, go-live, and post-implementation review.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, including critical path, milestones, dependencies, resource allocation, and risk and issue logs (RAID).
  • Monitor program progress against plan; proactively identify and resolve blockers, escalating where needed.
  • Ensure programs align with the Finance PMO’s governance standards, templates, and operating model.

Drive Stakeholder Alignment

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Finance functional leads, IT partners, Business Analysts, and external vendors.
  • Lead effective program governance cadences, including steering meetings, status updates, and working group sessions.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and decisions clearly and consistently to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Manage competing stakeholder priorities; drive consensus and navigate disagreements to keep programs moving.

Manage Requirements & Documentation

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Finance stakeholders to gather, validate, and document business requirements.
  • Ensure clear handoff of requirements to IT and vendor teams; track delivery against agreed specifications.
  • Develop and maintain program documentation, including charters, plans, process flows, decision logs, and lessons learned.

Support Testing & Adoption

  • Coordinate UAT planning and execution in partnership with Business Analysts and Finance functional leads.
  • Partner with the Change Manager to integrate change and communication activities into program plans.
  • Support post-go-live hypercare and program close activities; capture lessons learned and contribute to PMO continuous improvement.

Contribute to PMO Operations

  • Participate in Finance PMO intake and portfolio planning processes, providing accurate program data, effort estimates, and capacity inputs.
  • Adhere to Finance PMO standards and tooling (Smartsheet); maintain accurate and up-to-date program data.
  • Support the Director, PMO & Portfolio Management in maintaining an accurate view of the Finance program portfolio.

What You'll Bring

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; background in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred; Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent a plus.

Experience

  • 4–6 years of program or project management experience within a Finance, Operations, or Technology environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional programs through the full lifecycle: scoping, planning, execution, testing, and close.
  • Experience working with Finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A) or Finance system implementations (e.g., NetSuite, Kyriba, Brex, Salesforce) preferred.
  • Experience working in a high-growth global technology company preferred.

Skills

  • Strong organizational skills: ability to manage multiple workstreams, track details, and maintain momentum across competing priorities.
  • Clear and confident communicator: capable of running effective meetings and producing concise written updates for diverse audiences.
  • Relationship builder: adept at quickly gaining trust with Finance, IT, and vendor stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity: able to structure and drive work even when the path is not fully defined.
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet, Jira, or similar project management tooling.

What We Offer

  • A delivery role with significant ownership: you will run programs end-to-end.
  • Exposure to MongoDB's Finance transformation portfolio with visibility to Finance leadership.
  • A collaborative team environment where excellent execution is recognized and rewarded.
  • Clear career development pathways within the Finance PMO, towards Senior PM and beyond.
  • A supportive and enriching culture committed to employee growth and well-being, including employee affinity groups and a generous parental leave policy.
  • Competitive compensation package, including performance incentives.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with Finance ERP or SaaS implementations (NetSuite, Kyriba, Pigment, Brex/AppZen, Workiva).
  • Background in Accounting Operations or Finance Transformation.
  • Familiarity with MongoDB or other SaaS technologies.
  • Experience coordinating change management or training activities within a program.
  • Experience with program management on integrations from M&A activities.
