The Opportunity:
The One Medical Virtual Medical Team (VMT) is a leader in virtual clinical care, providing convenient, evidence-based medical care to One Medical patients in conjunction with their primary care providers. Utilizing advanced technology and a team-based approach, we deliver care 24/7. Our team is driven by intellectual curiosity, inclusivity, and a shared mission to transform healthcare.

Employment Type:

• Seasonal Employee: August - February 2027
• W2 position
• Minimum 40 hours weekly
• Requires working 2 full rotating A/B weekends per month (Saturday & Sunday).
• Must support 2 of 4 company-observed holidays (Thanksgiving, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day).

What You’ll Be Working On:

• Treating patients via telehealth visits, including triage calls, video appointments, and email follow-ups.
• Engaging in continuous learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities.
• Collaborating with virtual and in-office teammates during daily huddles.
• Utilizing your clinical expertise to provide exceptional virtual care to patients.

Required Education, Licenses, and Experience:

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS).
• Active NCCPA certification.
• Current licensure in DC or TX, with the ability to obtain licenses in additional states.
• Minimum of 2 years of practice as an Advanced Practitioner within the last 5 years, in either:
• An outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR
• An urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+).
• Ability to work afternoons and evenings (current shifts are 7 am - 6 pm EST or 11 am - 10 pm EST).
• Excellent clinical and communication skills, with the ability to follow established clinical protocols and workflows.
• Example Schedule: Thursday-Sunday, 7 am - 6 pm Eastern (with a 1-hour break each day).

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation: $80/hr.
• Note: This is a non-benefited virtual role.
