What You’ll Do:

The People Relations team aligns Braze’s business objectives with our people, acting as strategic partners to leaders and ensuring a comprehensive employee experience. As the Lead People Business Partner, Revenue (AMER), you will provide strategic HR support to the Global Revenue organization, serving as the primary HR point of contact and thought partner at the executive level. You will coordinate and align the work of People Business Partners supporting the Revenue org in AMER, ensuring consistent, high-quality HR support regionally and collaborating globally for cohesive people strategies. This is not a direct people management role, but you will provide meaningful oversight and guidance.

  • Serve as the primary strategic HR partner to senior AMER Revenue leaders, offering counsel and hands-on support across the employee lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and align AMER People Business Partners supporting the Revenue org, providing guidance and ensuring priority alignment without direct management.
  • Partner with global Revenue PBPs to align people strategies, share insights, and ensure cohesive HR support across the global Revenue organization.
  • Lead talent planning for the Revenue organization, including top talent identification, succession planning, leadership development, and workforce planning.
  • Advise senior leaders on organizational design, team structure, and people strategy as the Revenue org scales.
  • Drive complex, cross-functional HR initiatives tied to Revenue org priorities, including headcount planning, organizational effectiveness, and change management.
  • Act as an advocate for employees and a champion for the business, balancing organizational needs with employee experience.
  • Advise and coach employees at all levels, helping them strengthen relationships, navigate challenges, and grow their careers.
  • Serve as a connector for the broader People team, ensuring Revenue org insights are represented in company-wide programs.

Who You Are:

You are a seasoned HR business partner with deep experience supporting Revenue and go-to-market organizations, thriving at the intersection of executive partnership, regional coordination, and global collaboration.

  • 10+ years of HR business partner experience in the SaaS technology industry, supporting Revenue, Sales, or go-to-market organizations.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and employee relations.
  • Impeccable judgment and ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to build trust and credibility with senior leaders and influence without formal authority.
  • Strategic and influencing mindset, comfortable in a matrixed, cross-regional structure.
  • Superb organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience coordinating or providing informal oversight of HR partners.
  • Self-motivating, collaborative leadership style.
  • Robust multitasking skills.
  • Comfort working across time zones and geographies.
  • Ability to tailor approach to stakeholders at all levels.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Location: New York City or Chicago office, with hybrid flexibility.
  • Salary Range (US): $112,000 - $168,000 per year.
  • On Target Earnings (OTE) (US): $129,000 - $193,000 per year (including bonus/commission).
  • Equity: Qualifies for equity grants (RSUs).
