Customer Success Manager

The Role

This customer-facing role is critical to ensuring customers derive maximum value from their investment in Tanium, fostering world-class retention and expansion. The successful candidate will support a significant customer base, utilizing data and qualitative feedback to drive desired outcomes and resource allocation.

Location: This position follows a hybrid schedule, requiring employees to work from the office a minimum of three days per week in Addison, TX.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure successful business outcomes for customers, leading to world-class retention and expansion, by collaborating with Sales, Solution Engineers, Domain Architects, and other account team members.
  • Understand the unique complexity and segmentation of assigned customers, developing strategies for full Tanium platform adoption and expansion, overcoming implementation obstacles for new technologies.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure alignment with their business needs.
  • Identify opportunities for deeper Tanium integration into customer business processes and controls to increase ROI and expand into new solution areas.
  • Perform activities and manage data to drive adoption and value according to agreed-upon customer plans. This includes creating artifacts (e.g., Value Plans), tracking actions and risks, and updating internal systems like Salesforce and/or Gainsight.
  • Support strategically focused Executive Business Reviews alongside the account team.
  • Contribute to internal practice development efforts to enhance the maturity and improvement of our Customer Success function.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of all aspects of Tanium solutions and their value proposition to customers.

We’re Looking For

Education

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience Required

  • 0-3 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Sales, Renewals, or Service Management/Professional Services, preferably within a SaaS business model.
  • Demonstrated consulting and project management skills.
  • Working knowledge of endpoint technology.

  • Travel required: 5-15% within the regional territory.
  • Onsite/customer-located work as required.

What You’ll Get

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $64,000 to $98,000. This range is an estimate, and the actual salary offered may be adjusted based on factors such as location, education, skills, training, experience, and market conditions.
