Job Description

We are seeking a Financial Planner/Wealth Manager to build and develop trusted relationships with current and potential clients. You will be responsible for delivering financial planning and wealth management advice within the framework of an agreed business plan. All advice provided must be suitable, tailored, and personalized to the client, adhering to advice and control policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support client needs.
• Execute the annual Business Plan in line with agreed individual targets.
• Build new client relationships and maintain/develop existing ones through effective ongoing service to minimize attrition, driving new instructions and referrals from satisfied clients.
• Structure and lead client meetings professionally, ensuring all information and advice provided is up-to-date, technically accurate, and meets client needs.
• Ensure clients receive appropriate advice to achieve their financial objectives, considering factors like retirement planning, inheritance, and tax efficiency.
• Conduct client reviews at least annually, aligning with clients' changing risk attitudes and strategic requirements.
• Collaborate with Investment Management (IM) and Professional Services (PS) colleagues to develop client relationships.
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date client records in line with Group policy.

Qualifications:

Professional Qualifications and Education:

• Hold a relevant Level 4 qualification or above (aspiring for Level 7).
• Maintain an up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• Proven ability to manage new and existing clients on a fee basis.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate advice practices and processes.
• Ability to analyze client information and identify requirements to make suitable recommendations.
• Technical/product knowledge and effective communication of holistic financial planning strategies and solutions.
• Strong ethic of client and customer service.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience operating within a risk management framework and a thorough understanding of risks pertaining to private client business.
