Job Description:
Ready to transition your audit expertise into a commercial finance role? We are looking for a qualified Financial Accountant with a Big 4 or leading accountancy firm background who enjoys the technical side of accounting but wants to see its real-world impact. This role offers an excellent opportunity to move beyond professional practice into a growing commercial business. You will play a key role in financial reporting, audit management, and technical accounting, working closely with senior finance stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support the production of monthly management accounts.
• Review and analyze profit and loss performance.
• Manage lease accounting and IFRS compliance.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Perform revenue recognition analysis and reporting.
• Coordinate the annual external audit process.
• Support and enhance internal audit activities and controls.
• Prepare group reporting submissions.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and transactions.
• Provide technical accounting support across the finance function.
• Contribute to finance improvement projects and ad hoc initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Strong audit background gained within a Big 4 or leading accountancy practice.
• Experience auditing financial services, financial institutions, or complex corporate environments.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive approach and desire to build a career within industry.
