VP, Novel Asset Advancement

Telix Pharmaceuticals, a rapidly growing radiopharmaceutical company, is seeking an experienced VP, Novel Asset Advancement to lead the strategic development and execution of our CD66-targeted hematology-oncology programs. This executive-level role is critical to advancing our pipeline and delivering on the promise of precision medicine for patients with cancer and rare diseases.

As the executive asset owner, you will be accountable for the end-to-end strategy, advancement, and value realization of TLX66 diagnostic and therapeutic candidates through clinical development and toward registration. You will define and evolve the integrated asset strategy, including business case ownership, development planning, indication prioritization, and investment recommendations, ensuring alignment with enterprise portfolio priorities.

Operating as a senior individual contributor, you will lead cross-functional alignment across Clinical, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Commercial, Finance, and Quality. You will drive enterprise-level decisions, ensuring the program is strategically positioned, appropriately resourced, and executed to achieve key development, regulatory, and commercial milestones. This role is pivotal in advancing Telix’s first hematology-oncology product and directly impacts pipeline value, portfolio strategy, and long-term company growth.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Serve as the executive asset owner for CD66-targeted hematology-oncology programs, with full accountability for end-to-end strategy, progression, and value realization.
  • Define and continuously evolve the integrated asset strategy, including development approach, indication prioritization, target product profile, and long-range positioning.
  • Own the integrated business case, including financial assumptions, risk-adjusted scenarios, and value inflection points, leading executive-level recommendations.
  • Act as the primary accountable leader in executive governance forums, presenting strategic options and driving enterprise decision-making.
  • Operate as a peer to functional Vice Presidents, leading cross-functional alignment to ensure a unified development strategy.
  • Drive enterprise-level trade-off decisions, balancing scientific, clinical, regulatory, operational, and financial considerations.
  • Maintain accountability for program performance, including milestone achievement, risk profile, and timeline integrity.
  • Lead identification, evaluation, and mitigation of strategic and operational risks.
  • Provide strategic financial oversight of the program, including investment planning and resource allocation.
  • Ensure consistent executive-level visibility into program status, risks, and opportunities.
  • Influence broader portfolio strategy and lifecycle planning.
  • Drive a high-performance cross-functional operating model, enabling speed, clarity, and disciplined decision-making.

Position Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or related field required; PhD, MD, or PharmD preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience, including significant experience in drug development and strategic program or asset leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional development programs or assets, ideally within oncology.
  • Proven ability to own and advance asset strategy, including business case development, development planning, and governance engagement.
  • Strong understanding of global regulatory environments (FDA, EMA, APAC).
  • Demonstrated success operating as a senior individual contributor influencing executive leadership and cross-functional decision-making.
  • Experience presenting to and influencing executive governance bodies.
  • Strong financial and strategic acumen, including investment decision support, scenario planning, and risk management.
