Data Solution Architect

Version 1 is seeking a Data Solution Architect to join our award-winning team. In this senior architecture role, you will lead client solution delivery engagements, focusing on translating business requirements into technical solutions and designing modern data analytics platforms. You will leverage your demonstrated understanding of data architecture, analytics design, and project delivery lifecycles in client-facing environments.

This role involves deep customer engagement and requires effective stakeholder management, technical leadership, and collaboration with data science, visualization, AI, and machine learning initiatives. You will be responsible for designing and implementing business intelligence platforms, data modeling, ETL processes, master data management, and data quality systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and produce specifications.
• Design and implement business intelligence and modern data analytics platforms.
• Lead data architecture design and implementation.
• Perform data modeling.
• Design and implement ETL, data integration, and data migration solutions.
• Design master data management systems and processes.
• Design data quality systems and processes.
• Collaborate on data science, data visualization, AI, and machine learning initiatives.
• Document solutions, including High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).
• Work within project management and agile delivery methodologies.
• Support and coordinate team members on a day-to-day basis.
• Oversee the technical delivery of solutions.
• Manage stakeholders effectively and communicate clearly.

Essential Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in data solution architecture, design, and rollout.
• Experience with business intelligence tools, data modeling, data staging, and data extraction processes.
• Experience working with data warehouses and cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of multi-dimensional design (star schemas, facts, dimensions).
• Experience in ETL development techniques.
• Experience in data warehouse performance optimization.
• Demonstrated understanding of data management best practices (data profiling, sourcing, cleansing).

Desirable Experience:

• Experience across multiple industry sectors.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (Data and Cloud).

Additional Information:

• Salary Range: €75,000 - €95,000
• Location: Flexible/remote working available.
