About the Role:
We are looking for a Business Analyst with experience in data migration, system integrations, and documenting transformations between platforms. You will join a development pod assigned to an international client in the Property Management sector based in the UK. The primary objective is to clearly map and document the transformations required to adapt the representation of entities from a trust accounting system to its equivalent representation on the client's platform. This requires understanding both the business logic and technical architecture of existing integrations.
This is not a ticket management or task tracking role. We seek an analytical, proactive, and autonomous individual who can delve into data complexity, identify delivery risks, and produce documentation that development teams can execute with confidence.
Responsabilidades Principales:
- Analyze source and destination systems to understand data models, business rules, and transformation flows between platforms.
- Document structured mappings of entities, fields, transformation rules, and validation criteria required for integrations.
- Actively participate in client calls (in English), gather requirements, identify ambiguities, and propose solutions.
- Understand the client's platform's existing integrations, including their business logic and technical aspects.
- Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications that development teams can implement frictionlessly.
- Proactively identify edge cases, data inconsistencies, and delivery risks before they become blockers.
- Collaborate closely with developers and client stakeholders to ensure clarity from the outset and minimize rework.
- Produce traceable documentation connecting requirements, design, and validation.
- Lead a team of 3 developers.
Experiencia:
- 3+ years as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or similar roles in system integration, data migration, or platform transformation projects.
- Experience documenting data mappings between systems with different entity models.
- Proven track record of working with development teams, translating business requirements into executable technical specifications.
- Experience participating in English-speaking client calls and working in distributed teams.
Habilidades Técnicas:
- Knowledge of SQL for data analysis (Nice to have), transformation validation, and edge case identification.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and/or middleware integrations.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation for APIs, database schemas, and integration flows.
- Experience with project management tools (JIRA, Linear, or similar).
- Desirable: Experience with accounting, ERP, CRM, or property management platforms.
Habilidades Blandas:
- Fluent English (C1 or higher), both oral and written. Assessed during the selection process.
- Proactive and autonomous profile: capable of identifying problems and proposing solutions without explicit instruction.
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in documenting transformation rules and data mappings.
- Clear and structured communication, both in written documentation and in conversations with technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to operate in environments where requirements are incomplete, data structures are complex, and delivery risks depend on analysis accuracy.
What's in it for you:
