About the Role

EvenUp is seeking a Senior/Staff User Researcher to build, execute, and scale a comprehensive research engine that informs product strategy. This highly cross-functional, "full-stack" role involves owning Research Operations, hands-on Mixed-Methods Research, and Early Discovery Strategy. You will be a strategic partner to Design, Product, and Engineering leadership, influencing direction from concept validation to final decisions.

What You’ll Do

• End-to-End Research Ops: Build and scale foundational research infrastructure, managing participant recruitment, compliance, and tooling (including AI solutions).
• Mixed-Methods Research Execution: Design and conduct rigorous qualitative and quantitative studies, including surveys, focus groups, and 1:1 interviews. Analyze user engagement and sentiment.
• Strategic Discovery Research: Lead early-stage exploratory research to evaluate product concepts and influence product direction.
• Creative Artifact Generation & Business Alignment: Synthesize data into memorable artifacts (infographics, videos, presentations) and connect user needs to ARR opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Action: Identify research needs based on data, draft proposals, and develop actionable recommendations to drive product adoption.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of work experience in UX Research, Product Research, or a related field within a fast-paced B2B tech environment, operating at a Senior/Staff level.
• Exceptional analytical skills (Quant & Qual), comfortable interpreting user engagement data and presenting ARR opportunities.
• Proven track record of building and managing research operations (compliance, participant payouts, tooling).
• Strong strategic business acumen; ability to connect user behaviors to revenue opportunities.
• Scrappy and strategic approach, capable of both detailed execution and scalable system building.
• Outstanding communication and storytelling skills, utilizing creative mediums.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience as a founding researcher or establishing a research function.
• Experience leveraging AI for data synthesis or operations.
