About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Java/Python Fullstack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications. You will work across frontend and backend environments, utilizing Java/Spring Boot as the primary backend technology and Python/Django where needed. You will also develop frontend applications with React, implement event-driven architectures with Kafka, build GraphQL APIs, and work with SQL and MongoDB databases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Java/Spring Boot and Python/Django.
• Build responsive frontend applications using React.
• Design and implement event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka.
• Build and maintain GraphQL APIs and integrations.
• Work with SQL and/or MongoDB databases.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and GTM teams.
• Contribute to data platform initiatives (e.g., Dagster, Data Lakes, Amazon Athena).
• Ensure high code quality through testing, peer reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in architecture discussions, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
• Support agile development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot backend development.
• Experience developing backend services with Python and Django.
• Solid frontend development expertise using React.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven systems.
• Experience building and consuming GraphQL APIs.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and/or MongoDB databases.
• Familiarity with scalable distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Dagster, Data Lakes, or Amazon Athena.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Product management exposure, particularly working with GTM teams.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Windsurf).
• Knowledge of DevOps and infrastructure automation practices.
• Experience working in fast-paced product-driven environments.
