About the Role

Crehana is seeking a hands-on Tech Lead to set the technical direction for our AI-powered B2B SaaS talent management platform. You will lead by example, mentoring your team, ensuring code quality, and contributing directly to our scalable backend services. This is an opportunity to shape the architecture, best practices, and growth of our engineering team while collaborating closely with Product and DevOps to deliver impactful features across Latin America.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive architecture and technical decisions for scalable backend services.
• Establish and enforce code quality standards, conduct code reviews, and optimize CI/CD practices.
• Mentor and foster the professional growth of the engineering team.
• Collaborate with Product and DevOps teams to successfully ship new features.
• Ensure the stability, security, and ongoing evolution of the platform.

Tech Stack

• Required: Python + FastAPI, Docker / Kubernetes / microservices, AWS, GCP, or Azure, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
• Nice to have: REST APIs / GraphQL, Terraform

Requirements

• Proven experience leading engineering teams (junior and mid-level) or significant experience as a senior engineer ready for leadership.
• Strong Python proficiency, specifically with FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience with microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Solid understanding of security awareness and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Nice to Have

• Experience with RESTful API design and/or GraphQL.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
