About the Position:
We are seeking a Senior Manager of Content and Communications Strategy to lead the development and execution of innovative, high-impact media campaigns. This leader will oversee campaign creative, digital content strategy, and performance-driven advertising. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong creative instincts, a track record of successful digital campaigns, and experience managing people and vendors.
What You’ll Do:
- Digital & Creative Strategy: Lead integrated digital and content strategies, conceptualize campaigns, translate objectives into content across video, social media, digital advertising, and email, and develop creative concepts, messaging, and scripts.
- Campaign Management & Performance: Own the end-to-end process for paid media and digital campaigns, collaborate with digital vendors, establish KPIs, and use data to optimize strategies.
- Team & Partner Leadership: Manage and mentor the Creative Manager, serve as a liaison to partner organizations, and build strong relationships with vendors and internal teams.
- Brand, Content, & Storytelling: Ensure all creative reflects Murmuration’s values, elevates storytelling quality, and stays current with emerging digital trends.
Requirements:
- 7-10+ years of experience in content/digital strategy, creative leadership, or campaign management at an agency, political campaign, nonprofit, or mission-driven organization.
- Demonstrated experience leading high-impact media campaigns with measurable results.
- Proven ability to manage creative talent and external vendors.
- Strong portfolio showcasing digital storytelling, creative strategy, and performance-driven campaigns.
- Deep understanding of paid media, digital platforms, content strategy, and analytics.
- Excellent writing and messaging skills.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience translating complex data and performance metrics into clear insights.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in political, advocacy, or social impact environments.
- Familiarity with modern digital organizing and persuasion tools.
- Experience with polling, audience research, or message testing.
Location & Compensation:
This is a full-time, salaried position open to candidates anywhere in the United States. The starting salary is $212,623. A comprehensive benefits package is included.
