The Role: Technical Engineer (m/w/d)

As a Technical Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical point of contact for our clients in the German public sector. You will provide essential technical support for both cloud and on-premise installations, engage in client calls to analyze installation and operational issues, and reproduce technical errors in test environments. This role involves close collaboration with our Product and Development teams, acting as the voice of the customer to drive product improvements. Your insights will be critical in shaping the future of our secure communication platform.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to our cloud and on-premise customers.
  • Participate in client calls to analyze installation and operational challenges.
  • Reproduce technical errors within test environments.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Development teams, serving as the voice of our customers.
  • Relay customer feedback to improve our products.

What You Should Bring

  • Excellent German and English language skills.
  • Experience with Linux/OSS support.
  • Understanding of web technologies and client-server architecture.
  • High willingness to learn and the ability to quickly master new technical topics.

Nice to Have

  • Scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, or Rust).
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, and SQL.
  • Experience with Matrix.
