About the Role

As part of a demanding offshore grid connection project, you will be responsible for the technical management and implementation of automation and telecommunication systems on converter platforms and onshore stations. The focus is on ensuring quality, compliance, and timely realization across all project phases.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the contract-compliant implementation of automation and telecommunication systems on offshore converter platforms and onshore stations across all project phases.
• Ensuring compliance with permits, technical specifications, and contract requirements, as well as preparing for operator handover.
• Reviewing and evaluating technical documentation, managing change requests, and ensuring audit-proof project documentation.
• Providing technical leadership for specialists and coordinating internal and external project stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Accompanying FATs, construction, commissioning, and quality assurance activities at shipyards and manufacturer facilities, as well as active risk management within the project.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Communications Engineering, or Information Technology, or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in the automation of primary and secondary technical systems within power transmission facilities.
• Sound knowledge in the planning, control, and realization of complex technical infrastructure and large-scale projects.
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Medical fitness for offshore deployment and willingness to undertake regular international business trips.
