They focus on holistic solutions for reporting, planning, forecasting, and consolidation using modern BI technologies.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Consultant who combines financial understanding, consulting expertise, and analytical thinking. In this role, you will support clients long-term in optimizing their financial and controlling processes and jointly develop modern BI and planning solutions with them. You can expect a responsible role with a high degree of autonomy, direct client contact, and long-term development opportunities in a specialized consulting environment.

Your Responsibilities as Senior Consultant

• Consulting and Support: Advise and support clients in the areas of Business Intelligence, Corporate Planning, and Group Consolidation.
• Analysis: Analyze business requirements in collaboration with Finance, Controlling, and Corporate Accounting departments.
• Development: Develop concepts and solution architectures based on IBM Planning Analytics TM1.
• Solution Design: Translate business requirements into technical solutions and system concepts.
• Implementation: Model and implement OLAP solutions, reports, dashboards, and planning systems.
• Data Integration: Develop and optimize data integrations from ERP, financial, and source systems.
• Project Management: Accompany client projects from conception to commissioning.
• Training: Conduct workshops, user training, and presentations for clients.
• Client Relationship Management: Long-term support and further development of existing client solutions.
• Presales Support: Assist with presales activities, solution concepts, and client presentations.

Your Profile

• Education: Completed studies in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Finance, Controlling, or comparable fields.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, financial planning, and group consolidation.
• Financial Processes: Profound knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and controlling processes.
• Process Optimization: Practical experience in analyzing and optimizing finance and controlling processes.
• Communication: Strong communication skills and confident demeanor when interacting with clients and business departments.
• Work Style: Analytical and structured approach with a high degree of personal responsibility.
• Technical Aptitude: Interest in data-driven solutions and understanding of BI and planning systems.
• Language: Fluent German language skills for optimal client consultation and team communication.
• Travel: Occasional travel readiness for client appointments and workshops (approx. 1x per month).

• Experience with IBM Planning Analytics TM1.
