They are seeking a managing director who thinks strategically, works operationally, creates clear structures, and shapes the next phase of development with the team.

The Role

This position is aimed at individuals who want to take on responsibility and enjoy actively shaping a company. The role requires a blend of strategic vision and operational execution, focusing on creating clear structures and guiding the team through its next developmental phase. The location is in the Nordbayern region (Greater Nuremberg Area) with regular on-site presence required.

Your Responsibilities

• Strategic Development: Drive the strategic advancement of the company, defining annual goals and corporate priorities.
• Financial Management: Oversee business management, financial planning, and monthly/annual reporting.
• Organizational Improvement: Develop organizational structures and processes to enhance efficiency and transparency.
• Sales Leadership: Steer central sales activities and manage international partner structures.
• Sales Support: Support operational sales processes from quote generation to pre-sales activities.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop the existing team, fostering clear and responsible collaboration.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Development and Technology to pragmatically implement technological decisions.
• Strategic Interface: Act as an entrepreneurial interface between product, market, and organization.

Your Profile as Managing Director

• Leadership Experience: Several years of management experience in a software company or comparable leadership role.
• Change Management: Proven experience in leading organizations through change phases and developing existing structures.
• Agile Approach: Agile working methods and the ability to drive transformation actively and pragmatically.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: A strong entrepreneurial mindset combined with a clear hands-on mentality and willingness to be operationally involved.
• Process & Business Acumen: Highly developed process thinking and solid business understanding.
• Technology Affinity: High affinity for technology and genuine interest in integrating AI and modern technologies meaningfully into organizations.
• Growth Mindset: Enjoy working in smaller organizations with short decision-making paths and taking direct responsibility.
• Languages: Proficient German and English language skills (negotiation level).
