Job Description: Estimator

This role focuses on the measurement and pricing of all elements for cost plan preparation, including first-principles pricing and market engagement. You will be responsible for producing cost reports, assessing tender returns, and managing contractor variations and payment claims. The role involves compiling benchmarking and market intelligence data and utilizing our digital offering, the Hive, for all deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Measurement of all elements for cost plan preparation.
• Pricing of individual items within a cost plan from first principles, including market engagement where required.
• Preparation of cost reports.
• Assessment of tender returns and preparation of tender recommendation reports.
• Assessment of contractor variations.
• Assessment of contractor payment claims and preparation of payment recommendations to the Superintendent.
• Compilation of benchmarking and market intelligence data.
• Utilization of our digital offering, the Hive, for the implementation of all deliverables.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of post-graduate experience.
• AIQS or RICS member, or currently on the pathway to membership.
• Experience with CostX is preferred.
• Experience across the project lifecycle, including pre-contract, procurement, and post-contract activities.
