About Gastro-Beratung.de

At Gastro-Beratung.de, we support gastronomy businesses with their digitalization efforts, ranging from POS systems and digital menus (QR codes) to ordering and payment solutions. As a working student, you will work directly with our clients in Hamburg and the surrounding area, helping them successfully implement their digital transformation. Entry is possible from July or August, but can also be later.

The Role

We are a small but ambitious and growing team with a relaxed working atmosphere and the opportunity to shape your role individually.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding Support: Introduction and setup of digital gastronomy systems (e.g., POS systems, ordering systems, reservation tools).
• Technical Support: Direct point of contact for our clients with technical issues.
• Employee Training: Conducting training sessions for gastronomy teams on the use of new systems.
• Documentation: Creation of user-friendly guides and FAQs.
• Optimization: Gathering feedback to continuously improve services and technologies.

Qualifications

• Studies: Enrolled student in Computer Science (m/f/d) at a university or comparable course of study (Media Informatics, Business Informatics).
• Technical Interest: Affinity for digital solutions and their practical application.
• Skills: Experience with CSV data, basic network, and programming knowledge are advantageous.
• Communication Skills: Ability to explain technical content clearly and customer-orientedly.
• Solution-Oriented: Independent, structured, and proactive work style.
• Mobility: Willingness to attend on-site appointments in the Hamburg metropolitan area (e.g., Hannover or Harburg) (driver's license advantageous, but not mandatory).
• Language Skills: Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
