For an innovative technology company specializing in Cyber Security and safety-critical IT systems, we are seeking an experienced Software Developer (m/f/d) with a focus on virtualization, hypervisor technologies, and operating system development. In this role, you will work on sophisticated system platforms used in highly sensitive and security-relevant environments.

Responsibilities (Aufgaben)

• Further development of a highly secure virtualization platform and its system architecture.
• Development of hypervisor and kernel-level software components.
• Conception and implementation of new features in virtualization and isolation technologies.
• Integration of existing frameworks, tools, and system components into a powerful overall platform.
• Analysis of complex error patterns in virtualized environments.
• Performing low-level debugging and root cause analyses.
• Development and execution of automated tests for quality assurance.
• Performance analysis and optimization of virtualized systems.
• Close collaboration with experts in systems security, architecture, and software development.

Qualifications (Qualifikation)

• Completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of experience in system-level software development.
• In-depth knowledge of operating systems, virtualization technologies, or hypervisor architectures.
• Experience with hardware virtualization technologies such as Intel VT-x or AMD-V.
• Practical experience in analyzing and diagnosing complex system environments.
• Ideally, experience in the Linux and/or Windows kernel environment.
• Very good German and English language skills.
