Bosch is seeking an experienced Senior Developer to design, build, test, and deploy functionalities for the global Bosch Product Backbone (BOP) application, with a focus on the System Independent Material master (SIMAT).

Job Description:

As a senior developer, your primary responsibility is to design, build, test, and deploy functionalities in Bosch Product Backbone (BOP). This application is used by all divisions of Bosch worldwide. One of its key components is the System Independent Material master (SIMAT), a golden record calculated with complex rules in AMDP and CDS using S/4HANA core functionalities.

Tasks for this Role Include:

• As an expert in SAP S/4 HANA Development, utilize long experience in developing code used for group-level processes in large companies.
• Understand business needs and design/implement requirements in SAP ABAP, BRF+, AMDP, and CDS views.
• Analyze and evaluate application enhancement requirements with customers and senior architects.
• Solve business issues by analyzing existing code and proposing solutions using SAP S/4 HANA Services.
• Prepare technical design documents for unit testing and integration support.
• Drive quality and standards within the software engineering community, proposing innovative solutions.
• Work closely with Architects and IT Functional Consultants to ensure successful completion of User Stories.
• Represent and justify technical and implementation decisions to architects and customers.
• Develop application specifications, associated code, and prepare technical design documents.
• Write end-user documentation, document using UML/TOGAF in Sparx Enterprise Architect, and train end-users.
• Provide 3rd Level Support within your component for defects found in the production system.

Qualifications:

Skills Requirements:

• 9+ years of hands-on development experience on SAP S/4 HANA, AMDPs, and CDS views.

Programming Languages and Skills:

• ABAP (Other languages are an advantage).
• UML/TOGAF.

Development Experiences:

• ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Knowledge of HANA 2.0 database features (SAP S4HANA ON PREMISE Foundation Release 2023 FPS 01).
• Business Rule Framework plus (BRF+).
• Good knowledge in technical areas like CDS Views, AMDP, OOPs concepts, Web services, ADBC concepts, RFC, and FPM.
• Workflow Management.
• Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).

• MDM processes in Material master including Connected objects (Material classification, Document info records, Engineering Change Master, Bill of Material & Purchase info records).
