Associate Director Investment Management

What Will You Be Doing?

We are seeking an ambitious Investment professional to join our investment team in Dublin as an Associate Director Investment Management. You will build and develop trusted relationships with current and potential clients. You will be responsible for providing personalized investment advice and portfolio management to the client, ensuring that investment portfolios are managed in line with the Company’s investment philosophies & process.

Job Responsibilities

• Look after and support client needs.
• Execute the annual Business Plan in line with agreed individual targets.
• Build new client relationships and develop existing client relationships through effective, ongoing service to help minimize attrition, and to deliver new instructions and referrals as a result of satisfied clients.
• Structure and lead client meetings professionally, ensuring all information provided is up-to-date, technically accurate, and meets clients’ needs.
• Construct and maintain suitable portfolios in line with the clients’ requirements, circumstances, tax situation, and attitude to risk.
• Review portfolios regularly and make portfolio changes, consulting with colleagues where appropriate.
• Place deals accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Ensure that knowledge and skills are maintained and developed in line with industry, regulatory, and internal requirements by undertaking regular and appropriate CPD to reach their full potential.

Qualifications

Professional Qualifications

• Hold a relevant Level 6 qualification or above (aspiring for Level 7) and maintain an up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing.

Key Skills and Experience

• Understanding of the financial services industry and investment market.
• Experience of managing client investment portfolios and providing investment advice.
• Experience of remodeling newly acquired portfolios and bringing them into line with the investment policy.
• Technical/product knowledge and effective communication of wide-ranging investment management strategies and solutions.
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize work.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent numeracy and analytical skills.
• Experience of leading pitches and winning new business.
• Experience of operating within a risk management framework, together with a thorough understanding of the risks and threats pertaining to a private client business.
