About the Role

We are expanding our Solution Engineering team and seeking a Solution Engineer to redefine the business intelligence landscape for our customers. You will act as a trusted advisor, managing and executing all technical presales activities, including presentations, demonstrations, and prototype development. You will work closely with enterprise sales teams to drive adoption and success for prospects and customers.

This role involves close alignment with Regional Sales Managers focused on enterprise accounts, ensuring a seamless technical presales cycle.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand and uncover customer business challenges.
  • Engage with business users to define, create, and showcase solution prototypes.
  • Build and present customized demos for customers, trade shows, and webinars.
  • Articulate the business value of the Sigma platform to all organizational levels.
  • Respond to technical, product, and security aspects of RFPs/RFIs.
  • Obtain and maintain technical certifications to grow skill sets.
  • Collaborate effectively within the team, sharing knowledge and contributing to collective success.
  • Discuss integration and data migration approaches for enterprise sales cycles.
  • Manage multiple concurrent customer engagements.
  • Achieve assigned quarterly and annual objectives.
  • Serve as a Sigma champion and product expert, advising prospects and customers.

Qualifications We Need

  • Minimum 5 years of business intelligence experience.
  • Strong customer relationship skills.
  • Solid understanding of database concepts.
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • ETL experience (Fivetran, Matillion or traditional ETL).
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Experience implementing production BI solutions or proof-of-concepts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent technical & business experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
