About the Role

We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to strengthen our management team. The ideal candidate combines operational excellence with strong leadership skills and guides our clients with technical know-how, reliable implementation, and a consistent focus on quality.

Responsibilities

Operational Leadership & Process Optimization

  • Responsibility for the smooth operation of all operational business areas.
  • Analysis, design, and continuous optimization of internal processes and workflows.
  • Introduction and further development of quality assurance measures and KPIs.
  • Ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for customers.

Team Leadership & Personnel Development

  • Technical and disciplinary leadership of technical and administrative teams.
  • Fostering a appreciative corporate culture and open communication.
  • Structured onboarding of new employees and systematic development of the existing team.
  • Close collaboration with management on strategic personnel decisions.

Customer Relations & Service Quality

  • Ensuring high customer satisfaction as a central operational priority.
  • Point of contact for strategic key accounts and escalation point for complex inquiries.
  • Co-shaping and further developing the service offering in close coordination with sales.
  • Building and maintaining long-term customer partnerships in the Nuremberg metropolitan region.

Reporting & Management Support

  • Regular reporting to management on operational key figures and project status.
  • Active participation in medium-term company planning and growth strategy.
  • Identification and implementation of measures for efficiency improvement and cost control.

Qualifications

Professional Requirements

  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or comparable qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an operational management position, ideally in the IT sector.
  • Sound understanding of IT infrastructure, managed services, and IT security.
  • Proven experience in business process optimization and project management.

Leadership Competencies

  • Strong leadership personality with high social competence and empathy.
  • Experience in leading and developing interdisciplinary teams.
