Primarily supplying government agencies and NGOs, it has supported the nutrition of hundreds of thousands of children nationwide. The company offers a range of products for various age groups, including infants and mothers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Government Relations & Tender Management

  • End-to-End Bid Management: Identify, evaluate, and prepare submissions for government tenders and public bidding opportunities (e.g., PhilGEPS).
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure all bid documents, technical specifications, and legal requirements adhere to government procurement laws.
  • Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for government agencies, regulatory bodies, and local government units (LGUs).
  • Conduct fieldwork across Luzon and the Greater Manila Area, visiting agencies like DOH, DepEd, NNC, and DSWD. Manage Emergency and Public Nutrition, Medical Nutrition, and Hospital Accounts.

2. Strategic Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve sales targets by penetrating new market segments in public and private sectors.
  • Drive sales through active prospecting and lead generation, achieving monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Conduct high-level presentations to key decision-makers, including government department heads and corporate executives.

3. Relationship & Account Management

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, ensuring high client satisfaction and retention.
  • Coordinate pricing strategies and contract negotiations with the General Manager.

4. Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Monitor government projects, budget cycles, and policy changes impacting business opportunities.
  • Analyze competitor bidding strategies to enhance win rates.
  • Track industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to provide actionable insights to the GM.
  • Assist the General Manager in formulating annual business development plans and sales forecasts.
  • Identify opportunities for service or product improvements based on market needs and client feedback.
  • Monitor and analyze consumer, retail, and market trends relevant to government and institutional sectors.

5. Administrative & Reporting

  • Maintain an accurate CRM database of leads, contacts, and sales activities.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for the General Manager, including sales pipeline, bid win/loss ratios, and performance metrics.
  • Manage the company’s PhilGEPS account and maintain an updated repository of eligibility documents.
  • Monitor and maintain a comprehensive Bidding Calendar to track deadlines and ensure no opportunities are missed.
  • Ensure all bidding documents (Technical/Financial Envelopes) are accurate, compliant with the Government Procurement Reform Act, and meet company standards.
  • Coordinate the submission of Performance Securities and post-award requirements for the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1–3 years in Corporate Sales, Account Management, or Business Development with a proven track record in Government Transactions.
  • Experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, Distributor, Pharmaceutical, Nutrition, or Food companies is preferred.
  • Understanding of Government Procurement (or relevant local bidding laws) is advantageous.
  • Experience in preparing technical and financial envelopes for public bidding is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Fundamental Requirements: Demonstrate ability to serve as a primary company representative in the institutional market, driving engagement and business opportunities through strategic networking. Deep understanding of Government Procurement (or relevant local bidding laws).
  • Skills: Expert-level documentation and attention to detail; exceptional negotiation, closing, and relationship-building skills within the public sector; strong analytical mind focused on ROI and market trends; excellent communication and presentation skills (English and Filipino).
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Google Workspace and CRM software.
  • Personal Attributes: A self-starter, highly organized, and results-oriented, capable of working with minimal supervision.

NOTE: An existing network of contacts within relevant government agencies is a significant advantage.
