About the Role

We are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer who can contribute across the product — building new features, improving existing systems, and helping the team work more efficiently. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and takes ownership of getting things done.

You will work across our Laravel services (PHP 8.2 / Laravel 10), React frontend (React 18 + TypeScript + Vite), and AWS infrastructure, contributing directly to production code while helping improve workflows, documentation, and processes. We hire for attitude and ownership over perfect technical mastery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using PHP 8 and Laravel 10, integrated with MySQL.
• Build and optimize APIs, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
• Implement front-end features with React.js (18.2).
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Manage integrations between various systems and cloud services (AWS).
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, database schemas, and ensure adherence to security best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years as a Software Developer with a proven project track record.
• Strong knowledge of PHP 8, Laravel 9+, and MySQL.
• Proficiency in React.js 18.2 (or any other modern frontend framework).
• Experience with HTML/CSS/JS, RESTful APIs, and Git.
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and AWS (or similar cloud platforms).
• Solid database design and optimization skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and the capacity to work independently.
• Experience with PHPUnit or similar testing frameworks.
• Good understanding of web application security.
• Fluency in English (written & spoken).
• Strong ownership mentality — you can unblock yourself and drive work forward.
• A bias toward shipping and learning over waiting for perfect answers.
• Experience writing production code in both Laravel and React.
• Comfort moving across the full stack rather than staying siloed.
• Proactive, collaborative, and a clear communicator.
• Willingness to document your work and improve processes.

Nice to Have

• Experience with WebRTC, FFMPEG, HLS, SRT, RTMP, DRM.
• Knowledge of Node.js/Express and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience in a multi-service/microservices-style architecture.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as ECS/ECR, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Redis, Amazon MQ, and Lambda.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (especially CloudFormation-style templates and environment parameterization).
• Experience improving GitHub Actions workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with automated testing and quality tooling (Pest/PHPUnit, Vitest, Playwright, ESLint/Prettier, Pint, Psalm).
