Your Mission with Us

In this role, you will support national and international investors, project developers, and wind farm operators in evaluating and advancing wind energy and battery storage projects in Germany and Europe. You will take responsibility for technical-economic processes and contribute to demanding transaction and consulting projects, working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to lay the groundwork for successful investment and project decisions.

Your Responsibilities

• Project evaluation of wind farms, wind farm portfolios, and development pipelines in Germany and Europe.
• Project evaluation of battery storage systems as hybrid projects, co-location, or stand-alone.
• Creation of due diligence reports.
• Leading interdisciplinary expert teams in complex due diligence projects.
• Participation in feasibility studies for wind farms and battery storage projects.
• Assessment of repowering projects.
• Review and evaluation of project contracts, approval documents, and cost assumptions.
• Assessment of project risks and development of solution approaches.
• Consulting clients on technical-economic issues.

Your Profile

• Completed engineering degree in Renewable Energies, Energy Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience, ideally in technical consulting, operations management, project development, or realization of wind farms.
• Ability to clearly explain complex issues verbally and in writing.
• Solution-oriented thinking.
• Willingness to undertake occasional business travel.
• Very good German language skills (written and spoken, C1).
• Good English language skills (written and spoken, B2).
