We are seeking you for a nationally and internationally operating technical company with approx. 2,000 employees worldwide, approx. 350 employees in EMEA, and approx. 100 employees at the German site in Hamburg.

About the Role

International Payroll Specialist (m/f/d) with English and SAP with a home office share of 2 days per week after successful onboarding!

Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, you can earn up to €75,000 p.a. here.

The full-time position is to be filled within the scope of personnel placement. This means: You will have a permanent employment contract with your new employer from the start, who wishes to employ you for many years.

Responsibilities

Voilà, this is what your new job looks like!

  • You will manage and control the external payroll service provider in all payroll-related matters for the EMEA region and coordinate with local HR colleagues.
  • You will ensure the correct and timely preparation of monthly payroll for the Group's EMEA companies, including the administration of domestic and foreign employees and the entire reporting and certification system (approx. 350 employees).
  • You will be the central point of contact for company pension schemes in the EMEA region.
  • You will manage the time tracking system in the EMEA region in cooperation with the HR manager.
  • You will coordinate external audits with auditors, tax authorities, and social security institutions.
  • In doing so, you will work closely with internal and external consultants on tax, social security, and other applicable laws.
  • You will participate in salary increases and bonus rounds.
  • You will be the point of contact for insurers and professional liability insurance and prepare specific certificates.
  • You will participate in EMEA-wide projects for the definition and optimization of HR processes.
  • You will manage social benefits in the EMEA region.
  • Furthermore, you will handle HR reporting and support HR controlling.
  • You will support HR managers with administrative tasks.

Qualifications

What you bring to the table:

  • You have sound professional experience and knowledge in payroll accounting, tax law, social security law, and labor law, as well as company pension schemes.
  • You have gained experience in working with and managing an external payroll service provider.
  • In addition, you have professional experience in compensation and benefits as well as HR controlling.
  • You have knowledge of human resources as well as detailed methodological knowledge in business process management and design.
  • Additionally, you possess high customer orientation, reliability, and confidence in dealing with complex cross-border issues.
  • You have strong communication and conflict management skills, as well as a committed and solution-oriented approach to clients at various hierarchical levels.
  • Ideally, you have good SAP knowledge.
  • You have very good written and spoken language skills in German and English, and ideally in other languages.
