About IDEEMATEC
For over 20 years, IDEEMATEC has been at the forefront of the energy transition, developing cutting-edge solar tracker solutions. With over 80 patents and more than 10 GW of installed trackers across 30+ countries, we are committed to increasing global energy yields and long-term reliability. Your Role:
As a Project Controller / FP&A Specialist, you will be a key player in our financial operations, working collaboratively within our Controlling team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Steer and analyze the financial performance of national and international solar tracker projects throughout their entire lifecycle.
- Develop and enhance project and management reports, KPI dashboards, and regular variance analyses (actual vs. planned) for management and project teams.
- Monitor project budgets, cost developments, forecasts, and margins, ensuring continuous financial transparency.
- Identify and evaluate deviations, risks, and opportunities, and derive concrete action plans in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Support budget and forecast processes in close coordination with Project Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Sales.
- Prepare and evaluate business cases, profitability analyses, and financial models for projects, bids, and new business opportunities.
- Contribute to classic corporate controlling tasks (e.g., assisting with monthly/quarterly closings, cross-functional analyses) as part of our team-oriented approach.
- Advance controlling and reporting processes and help shape efficient steering tools within the project environment.
Your Qualifications:
- University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable commercial qualification, ideally with further education in Controlling (e.g., IHK Controller).
- Several years of professional experience in controlling, preferably in a project or FP&A environment within project-driven industrial or technology companies.
- Practical experience in financial project management: budget planning, forecasting, actual-vs.-plan and variance analyses; experience in classic corporate controlling (e.g., closings) is an advantage.
- Proficiency with ERP, BI, and controlling tools for independent KPI preparation, analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent skills in analyzing financial KPIs and trends, with the ability to distinguish data basis from interpretation and derive action requirements.
- Experience in cross-departmental coordination with internal project teams.
- Very good German and English language skills (written and spoken) for collaboration in international project and finance teams.
- Structured, prioritizing, and results-oriented approach with the ability to reliably manage multiple topics concurrently.
