Job Title: Complex Case Manager

Role Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Location & Working Arrangement

  • Hybrid Working: A minimum of 2 days per week in the office or on client site is standard, with flexibility based on role and assignment needs (up to 5 days on client site possible).
  • Flexible Working: Autonomy to manage your time and diary to suit your work/life balance, guided by client work and needs.
  • Office Base: Option to work from PA’s London office in Victoria.
  • Team Hub: Anchored by a dedicated team hub in Southwest London, with potential for national travel.
  • Working Hours: 40 hours per week, typically between 9 am and 6 pm, Monday to Friday.

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and solutions-focused Complex Case Manager to join our Argenti care technology team supporting the Southwest London service. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about using technology to improve lives, who excel at creative problem-solving, and thrive in collaborative environments within the Argenti Partnership and with social care colleagues.

Your Opportunity:

At the core of our personalized Care Technology offering, you will support the development and delivery of tailored Care Technology solutions for individuals with complex or unique needs. Working closely with Argenti partners and social care practitioners, you will process complex referrals, explore innovative options, and help achieve desired outcomes for the people we support.

You will engage with social care professionals, conduct regular conversations to understand needs, risks, and aspirations, and co-design effective technology-enabled solutions. You will utilize our full portfolio of Argenti Care Technology products and apply your specialist knowledge to match the right technology to complex situations. Flexibility, creativity, and openness to sourcing or proposing new solutions are crucial.

Working within the Southwest London Service:

  • Partner with Social Care Professionals: Collaborate closely with frontline colleagues to understand needs and challenges, co-designing bespoke, person-centred solutions for complex cases.
  • Advise and Support: Guide social care practitioners in specifying needs for complex Care Technology referrals, ensuring recommendations are evidence-based and innovative.
  • Support Specialist Installations: Complete installations of specialist Care Technology equipment for complex cases, including supported living schemes, virtual support, and for children and families.
  • Champion Service User Outcomes: Ensure all solutions are person-centred, aspirational, and enhance independence, well-being, and safety.
  • Document and Share Learnings: Capture and communicate insights from complex cases to contribute to best practices across the Argenti partnership and with council partners.
  • Contribute to Innovation: Play an active role in the ongoing innovation and evaluation process, influencing the future of care technology with the Argenti Innovation Specialist.

You will report to the Argenti Operations Manager and collaborate with the wider Southwest London team, council partners, and the provider network.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Attributes:

  • Experience supporting vulnerable people in a health or social care context.
  • Experience working with care technology or a similar related technology.
  • Strong motivation to support vulnerable individuals in living fulfilling, independent lives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage independently with partners, stakeholders, and clients, and produce relevant reports.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency and aptitude for learning new technologies.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Organized with strong project management abilities and excellent attention to detail.
  • Enjoys problem-solving.
  • Adaptable to different scenarios and resilient in the face of service challenges.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Desirable (but not necessary):

  • Direct experience working with a council in an adult social care context.
  • Direct experience using and installing care technology.
  • Experience working with a monitoring organization.

Security Clearance

  • Some UK roles at PA Consulting require UK security clearance.
  • All PA employees undergo background checks and must achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Some roles require higher levels of National Security Vetting, necessitating at least 5 years of continuous UK residency.
