About the Role

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract opportunity reporting to the Associate Director, Investor Delivery. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient setup and maintenance of investor profiles and processing of fund transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain investor profiles accurately and efficiently as outlined by the investor in documents or requested updates thereafter.
• Process transactions in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the fund offering documents, with attention to proper procedures and deadlines.
• Assist with the organization’s FATCA/CRS service offering to our clients.
• Prepare wire payments and account transfer transactions through various banking platforms to settle distributions, and transfer approved dealing proceeds to the client trading account.
• Prepare periodic fund activity reports for submission to relevant clients or their regulatory bodies, reporting, including statement of holdings, shareholder registers, and audit confirmations, etc.
• Respond to queries from Clients, Investors, Fund Managers or internal MUFG Departments following a high-quality standard, and provide assistance and guidance to the team members in query responses, provide guidance to colleagues within the team in daily tasks, processes and deliverables.
• Participate in regular team check-in meetings/calls sharing information, ideas and supporting colleagues in a positive team culture.
• Support management in department initiatives, projects, risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred or relevant experience.
• Experience in financial services, fund administration, asset management, banking or client service is an asset.
• Knowledge of Investor Services processes and related functionalities is an asset.
• Existing client/customer service experience would be ideal.
• Computer skills with strengths in Microsoft Office products. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel would be an asset.
