Artist (Contract)

About the Role

Join Fresh Prints, a New York-based custom apparel startup, as a crucial member of our innovative Art Team. In this 3-month contractual role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality mock-ups and artwork for every order, directly supporting students building apparel businesses at their schools. This remote position offers opportunities for learning, growth, and direct impact.

Responsibilities

• Upload mock-ups and artwork quickly and accurately while maintaining strong quality standards.
• Ensure artwork matches client requests, manager instructions, and production requirements.
• Interpret and follow complex instructions with strong attention to detail.
• Recreate and clean low-quality artwork into production-ready vector files.
• Maintain strong QA awareness by reviewing artwork for technical, aesthetic, and instruction-related issues before upload.
• Communicate clearly with Campus Managers and internal teams regarding revisions, concerns, recommendations, or clarification questions.
• Utilize Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop efficiently in a production-based environment.
• Utilize AI-assisted workflows and tools responsibly to improve presentation quality, workflow efficiency, and design support.
• Complete a set number of deliverables per day while balancing speed, quality, and accuracy.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English.
• Reliable, responsive, and able to manage time effectively in a remote setup.
• Comfortable asking questions and clarifying unclear requests.
• Receptive to feedback and open to continuous improvement.
• Able to balance speed and efficiency without compromising quality.
• Strong instruction comprehension and attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Experience creating and editing vector graphics, including from low-resolution source material.
• Ability to recreate artwork accurately using the Pen Tool and/or drawing tablets.
• A well-functioning computer capable of handling design workloads and a strong and stable internet and power connection.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools and workflows is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly salary ranges from $400 to $600 + night shift allowance, depending on schedule and responsibilities.

Details

• This is a remote "work-from-home" position.
• Work hours: 7 PM to 5 AM Manila Time, Monday to Friday.
• This is a 3-month contractual setup, with possible extensions depending on business needs and performance.
• Fresh Prints never charges any money during the hiring process.
