About the Role: Customer Success Engineering

The Customer Success Engineering team acts as technical consultants, ensuring seamless and high-standard delivery of Feedzai's product through installation, configuration, and customization. We tackle complex client challenges, making this a dynamic and impactful role for persistent engineers committed to world-class client experiences.

Your Role & Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer within the Customer Success organization, you will be crucial in installing and tailoring our Fraud Risk Scoring systems to meet client requirements, focusing on integration and performance management. You will leverage a diverse technology stack, including SQL, NoSQL databases, on-premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google), and streaming systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka).

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Executing the full software development lifecycle for integrations and enhancements to Feedzai's core product.
  • Writing well-designed, testable, and high-quality code.
  • Integrating multiple software components into robust, functional systems.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing systems.
  • Deploying and supporting systems in production environments.
  • Adhering to best practices and industry standards.
  • Working within Agile principles to deliver quality products consistently.
  • Ensuring proper feature deployment and product upgrades.
  • Providing Second Tier support for live clients.
  • Collaborating within a project team alongside Data Scientists, Project Managers, and Fraud Analysts to understand client needs, translate them into requirements, and execute solutions.

What You Bring & Know-How

  • A BS or MS in Computer Science, or a comparable field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Java software development or another modern programming language.
  • Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
  • Proven client engagement experience and the ability to work consultatively with clients.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Availability to travel up to 15%.

We collaborate closely with clients to ensure they have the right solutions, build strategic plans, and provide training, supporting them throughout their lifecycle.
