Job Description: Agile Lead

We are looking for an enthusiastic Agile Lead to work within our Credit and Verification Services Identity and Fraud business. As an Agile Lead, you will support our development teams building new capabilities on the latest financial products to be the best they can. The Agile Lead is ideal for a candidate who wants to grow their Agile career, being a scrum master or supporting kanban teams.

About the role:

This is an exciting time for the Experian UKI Region. We look to build our presence in the UK, Bulgaria, and Hyderabad. We work on a technology transformation to meet our aspiration to grow our business over the next five years. This an opportunity to join Credit & Verification Services on this journey and be part of a collaborative team that uses Agile DevSecOps principles to deliver value.

Credit and Verification Services comprises nearly 100 engineering teams who deliver over 200 products achieving revenue per annum for our UK Business.

This is a hybrid role requiring work from Sofia office 2 days per week. You will report to the Delivery Director (Crosscore Platform).

You will be part of Experian’s Credit and Verification Services Identity and Fraud team, where our purpose is to empower and inform decisions through data and progress. We turn complex data into clear insights that help businesses understand and support their customers. Over 5,000 clients and 1.5 million consumers trust our data.

What you will do:

• Use your knowledge of Agile methodologies to allow one or more teams to deliver value to Experian’s customers by guiding Agile events.
• Make use of metrics and measures to highlight insight and allow continuous improvement to ensure the team can realise its potential.
• As an Agile Lead, ensure that any impediments are made visible and facilitate the resolution of any issues affecting the team’s flow.
• Support the teams towards an agile mindset and ensure a safe, positive, and collaborative environment.
• Work with the product owners to engage the teams and ensure they are driving towards the product domain’s measurements.
• Engage with the agile community within Experian.
• Evidence a development approach where setbacks are seen as opportunities to learn and improve.

Qualifications:

What You will bring:

• 3+ years of relevant working experience of Agile methodologies, experience in an Agile delivery environment, in a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead role.
• A personal style that embraces teamwork, cares about the work and the team, and shares openly and honestly with all.
• Positive enthusiasm and curiosity that helps teams ‘catch the spark’ of change and imagine new possibilities.
• Understand Agile metrics, specifically around predictability, cycle time, throughput, and WIP.
• Aim to develop further learning around Agile methodologies, toolsets, and coaching. Coach the team and wider business to create a safe and open environment where teams can succeed.

We consider it an advantage if you also have:

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) accreditation or equivalent.
• Jira and Confluence experience.
• SAFe® Scrum Master certification.
• Experience working in regulated environments.
