The Role
Join our Business Unit SAP as a developer who feels at home on the SAP Business Technology Platform and wants to not only develop modern cloud solutions but also help shape them. Location
Strengthen our team at our headquarters in Heidelberg, in our office in Magdeburg, or remotely from your home in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Develop applications, workflows, and interfaces on SAP BTP, e.g., using CAP, Fiori Elements, UI5, and SAP Build.
- Provide technical consulting at eye level with customers, business departments, and project teams in complex environments.
- Design and build SAP BTP structures, e.g., using Subaccounts, Directories, Cloud Foundry, and relevant BTP services.
- Connect SAP and non-SAP systems via Integration Suite, Advanced Event Mesh, or OData/REST.
- Shape secure DevOps operating processes, including authorization and identity management.
- Proactively address technical challenges, communicate clearly, and find pragmatic solutions even with incomplete information.
Qualifications
- Several years of project experience on SAP BTP and profound knowledge of CAP.
- Experience in various BTP areas, e.g., Integration Suite, Event Mesh, or Build Process Automation.
- Experience with SAP system landscapes such as S/4HANA, on-premise, and cloud.
- Profound knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript, as well as experience in development with Node.js, npm, and modern toolchains.
- Experience with security concepts, OAuth2, and Identity Management (SAP IAS, Azure AD).
- Openness to familiarize yourself with classic SAP ERP landscapes if needed and integrate them meaningfully into transformation projects.
- German language skills at least C1 level and fluent English in a project context.
