About the Role

As a Backend Engineer on the Platform team, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining our core backend services. This role is crucial for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys making product decisions, and is passionate about creating exceptional user experiences. What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, including public TTS API, and internal APIs for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking, ensuring they meet business and scalability requirements.
• Oversee the entire backend API landscape, focusing on enhancements and optimizations for performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate on B2B solutions, with a focus on customization and integration for enterprise clients.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure backend architecture aligns with the overall product strategy and user experience.

An Ideal Candidate Should Have

• Proven experience in backend development with TS/Node (required).
• Direct experience with GCP and knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
• Efficiency in ideation and implementation, with the ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact.
• Preferred: Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Preferred: Proficiency in deploying high availability applications on Kubernetes.
