About the Role
For an established company in the financial sector in the Munich area, we are looking for an IT Operation Manager (m/f/d).
In this role, you will assume a central interface function between IT operations, internal specialist departments, and external service providers. You will ensure that IT services run stably, are properly documented, and are continuously developed.
The position is suitable for individuals who combine technical understanding with organization, communication, and service orientation.
Responsibilities
- Planning, control, and further development of IT services
- Development and maintenance of a structured service catalog
- Support and coordination of new IT services from introduction to stable operation
- Monitoring of availability, performance, and service quality
- Coordination during disruptions, service outages, and escalations
- Analysis of recurring service problems and derivation of sustainable solutions
- Monitoring and tracking of Service Level Agreements
- Management of external service providers and internal implementation teams
- Coordination of IT changes during ongoing operations
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, process descriptions, and implementation concepts
- Participation in improvement projects in IT Service Management
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification
- Experience in IT Service Management or IT Operations
- Good knowledge of Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management
- Ideally, knowledge of ITIL or comparable IT Service Management frameworks
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and technical operational processes
- Experience in collaborating with external service providers
- Structured, solution-oriented, and reliable way of working
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of collaboration with various interfaces
- Experience in project management or in continuous improvement processes is an advantage
