🎯 The Role: Director of Strategic Accounts (DSA)

As a Director of Strategic Accounts on the Tanium field sales team, you will be responsible for generating opportunities and positioning the Tanium platform within your assigned territory and/or accounts. You will be equally comfortable discussing business benefits with CIOs and CISOs as you are with technical teams, delivering technology solutions tailored to customer needs and exceeding your sales quota.

🔑 What You'll Do

  • Value Articulation: Clearly communicate the value of the Tanium platform to decision-makers and expertly manage complex sales cycles.
  • Relationship Nurturing: Develop and nurture relationships within your assigned territory/accounts, presenting the platform's value proposition to C-suite executives.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with Partner and Marketing teams to define and execute prospecting and sales efforts.
  • Pipeline Management: Generate sufficient sales development activity to ensure a healthy pipeline.
  • Forecasting: Accurately forecast sales and maintain excellent Salesforce (SFDC) hygiene.
  • Lead Generation: Conduct online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads.
  • Travel: Be prepared to travel as needed to support sales activities.

🎓 We're Looking For Someone With

  • Significant enterprise software sales experience, including closing large and complex software transactions with major regional clients.
  • A strong team mentality; adept at leveraging virtual resources to navigate large, complex sales cycles.
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience engaging and presenting to C-suite level contacts.
  • Background in building and cultivating relationships within partner ecosystems to foster a partner-centric go-to-market approach.
  • The ability to evangelize and generate new business opportunities within your territory/accounts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
