Junior Manager, Suspension Systems (Automotive)

Our client, a globally leading provider of innovative chassis, brake, and steering systems for the automotive industry, is looking for a dedicated Junior Manager to join their team in Frankfurt am Main.

About the Role

As a Junior Manager in Chassis/Suspension, you will be the central point of contact for application projects, guiding them from initial customer contact through to series production. You will coordinate, moderate, bring people together, and ensure that technical excellence, customer satisfaction, and timelines are in harmony. You will hold the reins and actively shape the future of mobility.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate new and existing application projects from nomination to series production.
  • Collaborate closely with the design department, providing active support for CAD activities.
  • Contribute to product development and validation, from concept to series readiness.
  • Act as a central interface between customers, operations, sales, development, suppliers, and internal project stakeholders.
  • Ensure project progress and adherence to internal and external milestones towards series production.
  • Organize, conduct, and moderate project meetings, such as project gateway reviews.
  • Create, maintain, and track project schedules, action lists (LOPs), and relevant project documentation.
  • Provide regular reporting on project status to internal teams and external clients.
  • Support and technically accompany projects post-SOP, managing changes, optimizations, or troubleshooting.

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable engineering field.
  • Technical understanding of suspension systems; experience in design, testing, validation, or tuning is advantageous.
  • Organized, solution-oriented, and capable of working structurally and reliably under pressure.
  • Familiarity with change, problem, and requirements management.
  • Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills on both technical and interpersonal levels.
  • Enjoys international collaboration, is open to travel, and is comfortable with cultural diversity.
