Project Manager (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team as a full-time, remote employee. You will be the organizational backbone, coordinating complex, multi-phase creative projects from strategy through production. This internal-facing role requires close collaboration with our leadership team, creative staff, and external contractors to ensure projects stay on track and deadlines are met. You will work directly with the founder/creative director and closely with client relations management.

Team & Environment

You'll be part of a small, agile team managing work for 3-4 clients with multiple concurrent projects. This is a full-time, remote role requiring a high level of independence, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

  • Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm CST

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of project management experience in a creative agency or fast-paced creative environment.
  • Familiarity with the full lifecycle of creative campaigns (strategy → creative development → production).
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects and contractors simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Calendar, Drive).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a scrappy startup environment while maintaining high standards.
  • Experience at an LA/New York-style agency or similar fast-moving creative environment.
  • Comfort with simple project management tools (Google Sheets, Calendar) rather than complex platforms.
  • Understanding of integrated marketing campaigns with multiple deliverable streams.
  • Experience managing producer/contractor relationships.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, Notion, and similar tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management and Coordination: Manage contracts with confidentiality and sensitivity.
  • Project Coordination: Manage 4-6 concurrent projects, ensuring stakeholder and contractor alignment on timelines and deliverables.
  • Timeline Management: Own project calendars and timelines using Google Sheets and Google Calendar, tracking complex integrated campaigns.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate between internal teams, leadership, and external contractors for clarity on deadlines and dependencies.
  • Process Ownership: Understand project phases from client briefing through strategy, creative development, reviews, and production.
  • Deadline Setting: Work with leadership to establish realistic deadlines.
  • Documentation & Organization: Maintain organized project tracking systems.
  • Calendar Management: Organize and optimize schedules, coordinate meetings, and manage time effectively.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with tools like Slack, Google Docs, and AI applications (e.g., ChatGPT).
  • Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Adjust to changing circumstances and resolve logistical issues.
  • Capable of creating high-quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Technical Requirements:

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload).
  • Modern computer or laptop with a multi-core processor (Intel i5 or higher/equivalent).
  • Proficiency with remote communication tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Google Meet).
  • A noise-canceling headset with a microphone.
