About the Role

Axiom is seeking a seasoned Multifamily Bond Credit Attorney to support a key financial services client. This role is critical in facilitating multifamily financing products and transactions, requiring close partnership with internal business teams and the management of external legal counsel throughout the entire transaction lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support for multifamily financing products and transactions.
• Effectively manage and coordinate with outside counsel.
• Offer strategic legal guidance and transactional support.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to advance financing and product enhancement initiatives.
• Identify and advise stakeholders on legal and transactional risks.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in municipal finance, public finance, or related transactional finance.
• Demonstrated experience with bond credit enhancement transactions.
• Proficiency in municipal finance and/or multifamily housing finance.
• Excellent communication, issue-spotting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent, with a valid license to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction.

Preferred Skills

• Experience representing bond credit enhancers, underwriters, liquidity providers, or financial institutions.
• Familiarity with multifamily housing finance and housing finance agency transactions.
• Membership in the National Association of Bond Lawyers (NABL) is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated Total Compensation: $104,500 - $325,000 per year for attorneys.
