The Impact You Will Have
- Develop and execute customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executives.
- Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization and building technical champions.
- Influence stakeholders across all levels by engaging with the broader cloud ecosystem and third-party applications, evangelizing the Databricks vision and solution strategy.
- Act as a trusted advisor and expert solution architect for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Contribute to the Databricks technical community by creating customer-facing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
- Pursue continuous development through defined tracks: technical specialization, industry vertical thought leadership, strategic customer vision, or people management.
What We Look For
- 5+ years of customer-facing technical experience.
- Proven ability to engage in complex customer interactions and navigate the technical pre-sales lifecycle.
- Skill in influencing decision-makers and C-level executives through relationship building and team orchestration for long-term customer success.
- Prior experience coding in a core programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala) and a willingness to learn foundational Spark concepts.
- Hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept (POCs) and public cloud platforms.
- Ability to provide technical solutions tailored to specialized customer needs and effectively navigate a competitive landscape.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% as required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range Transparency: Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation. The listed pay range represents the expected base salary for non-commissionable roles. Actual compensation is based on unique candidate factors including job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications, training, and work location. Databricks anticipates utilizing the full width of the provided range.
- Zone 1-4 Pay Ranges: $180,000—$247,500 USD
- Total Compensation: May include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
