About the Role
Planet's customer success team is seeking an experienced Regional Manager, Customer Success, Defence and Intelligence, to lead and grow a team of Customer Success Managers (CSMs) in the Asia Region. You will be instrumental in developing the existing team, hiring top talent, and serving as the senior customer success contact. This leadership position involves acting as an executive sponsor for key customers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure maximum customer value and satisfaction. Crucially, you will co-own the renewal and expansion targets for the region, working closely with CSMs and the Sales team to achieve ambitious goals.

What You Bring
- 10-15 years of customer-facing experience (preferably in Customer Success or equivalent, e.g., account management, consulting), with strong examples of customer/client relationship building and collaborative problem-solving.
- A firm grounding in defense industries, potentially including sales, business development, program, or project management.
- Experience with intelligence collection, ideally space-based or geospatial ISR.
- Experience with intelligence analysis and dissemination.
- Direct management experience.
- Exceptional customer communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven experience driving value, expansion, and renewals with customers.
- Ability to work effectively across distributed and cross-functional teams; strong leadership and influencing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and an Asian language.

- Strong examples of customer/client relationship building and collaborative problem-solving.
