Your Role

As a Senior Project Lead, you will be responsible for steering complex ERP and transformation projects within the Microsoft Dynamics environment. You will act as the central point of control and leadership, bridging the gap between management, clients, consultants, and development teams. This role uniquely blends classic senior project leadership with functional expertise in Business Central, while actively contributing to the growth of the team and the project organization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Project Leadership & Multiproject Management

• Lead complex, large-scale ERP projects, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, overseeing resources, budgets, risks, and stakeholders.
• Direct interdisciplinary project teams comprising consultants, developers, and external partners.
• Conduct and moderate project steering committee meetings with management and executive levels.
• Ensure project quality, economic viability, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Manage escalations and critical project situations.
• Oversee change management and transformation processes.
• Develop and refine project methodologies, governance structures, and delivery processes.

Functional Leadership & Business Central Expertise

• Provide functional leadership and development for BC consultants and developers.
• Act as a strategic sparring partner for team leads and management on technical and strategic matters.
• Advise clients on the implementation and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Communicate effectively with technical and functional teams.
• Support architectural, integration, and process decisions within the BC environment.
• Lead workshops, presentations, and strategic client meetings.
• Coordinate interfaces with partner solutions and external service providers.

Qualifications

What You Bring

• Several years of experience as a Senior Project Lead in IT consulting or the ERP sector.
• Demonstrated experience in leading complex, large-scale projects and multiproject structures.
• Strong knowledge of classic and agile project management methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in stakeholder management at management and executive levels.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers and consultants.
• Technical affinity for ERP integrations, processes, and interfaces.
• Structured, solution-oriented, and entrepreneurial work approach.
• High degree of self-responsibility and confident demeanor.
• Excellent German language skills and good English language skills.

Desirable (Optional)

• Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM, etc.).
• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics or Business Central.
• Experience in building or developing consulting teams.
• Experience in international project structures.
